The new issue of Black Beauty & Hair is out now! The Black Beauty/Sensationnel Hair Awards in November showcased the top stylists in afro hairdressing so for all the highlights and winning styles check out this issue. As usual it's jam packed with hairstyle ideas, including some gorgeous protective styles. There's also an interesting article on when relaxers go wrong, a bit scary for people like myself to read but it's always good to be aware of the dangers.
Whilst interning at Black Beauty & Hair I worked on this issue's Test Factor page and I chose to road test some fibre mascaras. Most of the ones I tried ended up being better than I expected so it was hard rating them all! In the end my absolute fave was Model Co Fibre Lash Mascara (£35) - it gave serious lash extension and being the falsie novice that I am it's now my favourite mascara.

ReplyDeleteI would definitely like to try one! I never try out new mascaras.. but I would buy a fibre one and see if it lengthens my lashes more :)
