So it's officially been 3 WHOLE years since I started a hair journey! I really didn't realise how much my hair could change. All I hoped to gain when I first started reading about hair in August 2010 was arm pit length hair. I never thought I'd be able to get to anywhere near mid back or waist length and now I can't imagine my hair being shorter. It's so strange!
With my decision to transition to texlaxed hair the bone straight parts have got to go. I'm always changing my mind but currently I've settled on gradually chopping my ends. I've decided that where my hair isn't evenly texlaxed there's no hurry to get rid of my ends.
I chopped off about 1-2 inches yesterday and here are the results.

I actually prefer the before picture which was taken on Monday. By yesterday my hair lost it's body so it looks pretty flat in the after shot. I'm happier with my ends though, they look a lot blunter in person than they do in the picture. You can see how it looks from the front too in the below YouTube video I've uploaded. I'd say I'm mid back length but still very close to waist length. My goals at the moment are to maintain long hair whilst also transitioning.
