Black Shoe Haul | Autumn 2014
Black shoes account for about 95% of my footwear and yet I can never seem to have quite enough of them. I've been using the autumn season as an excuse to add some new shoes to my collection and I'm sure these 3 pairs will get the most wear over the coming months.
Primark Black Pointed Flats
For the days it's not thundering with rain and not cold enough to freeze my toes I'll be relying on these flats. I don't usually like pointy shoes as my feet are pretty wide but these look quite cute on and were the bargain price of £4 in the Primark sale.
River Island Black Lace Up Brogues
I have so many pairs of brogues in random colours but strangely I haven't owned any in black until now. I'm a big fan of keeping it simple so the clean, classic design suits me to a tee. These brogues work perfectly with my tailored trousers and checked dresses which I'll be wearing this season.
River Island Black Cut Out Boots
I find it really hard to not buy several of what I have already which has led me to have so many variants of the Chelsea Boot. I couldn't resist another pair and surely one more pair of Chelsea Boots can't hurt? I love the cut out detail and the gold buckle on these which are a cool twist on the classic design.
What are you favourite shoes to wear?
You can never have too many pairs of black shoes, I only say that because I'm not good at matching multiple colors lol. Loving the cut out boots! I'll definitely be rocking boots as it gets cooler. I spotted some cool ones at Forever 21.
ReplyDeleteI don't own any River Island but the quality of their clothes and shoes seem much better than F21. What do you think?
I'm not good at matching many colours either! I've always loved every pair of shoes I've had from River Island and they last pretty well considering the price is affordable. I love F21 but I haven't actually bought many of their shoes so it's hard for me to compare! They seem to be similar in terms of quality x
DeleteI love black shoes, such a staple for everyone's wardrobes! You've picked some great ones here - I have wide feet too but the Primark ones look as though the front bit won't start at the widest part. I want all 3 pairs!!

DeleteI've been going out of my way to avoid black shoes in an effort to liven up my closet! Great selection, love the brogues.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good idea! I'm a creature of comfort and can't help buying mostly black shoes :/ x
DeleteI've recently relocated to a multi-season climate coming from a 2 season tropical climate; where I lived in sandals & open-toed shoes of all varieties, and so I need to add 'whole shoes' that aren't rain boots or sneakers.
ReplyDeleteI'm told the winter is mostly rainy and damp, which I interpret as similar to British weather, so your post could not be more applicable at this time! I'll be travelling throughout this month and hope to pick up some additions, and you have shown great options here. Thank you!
Thanks Josie! x
