Haul | Black Friday Missguided Buys

This year on 28th November was the first that 'Black Friday' really had an impact in the UK. Shops everywhere were discounting stock and I was inundated with emails from places I'd forgotten I'd even subscribed to. The bulk of my purchases were from Missguided who dropped several deals over 'Black Friday weekend'. I didn't go too crazy with my purchases as I haven't ordered much from Missguided before but I love everything I bought which has slotted into my current wardrobe perfectly.

Dorothie Floral Print Cigarette Trousers (£24.99 £5)
These trousers are so well put together which I wasn't expecting as the photo on the website doesn't do it justice. I would totally pay full price for these and I feel a little like I've robbed Missguided of these by only getting them for a fiver. I've got a slouchy cream jumper that I love wearing these with and I often opt for these black brogues for a more casual look.

Alison Floral Racer Bodycon Dress (£9.99 £5)
I've been hoarding bodycons this season which is a welcome change from wearing swing and shift dresses. I love the floral pattern on this one. The racer style top makes hiding my bra straps a little awkward but I recently got a very simple but neat tool to tuck my bra straps in which Shirley talks about in her video here.

Beatrina Contrast Collar Playsuit (£24.99 £5)
I'm in love with tailored pieces and anything monochrome so this playsuit is perfect for me. I found my size of this particular playsuit quite restrictive (length wise) so I opted for a bigger size this time which is the slightest bit too big. It's not noticeable when I accessorise this playsuit with a belt but I may have to give it a little nip and tuck with my sewing machine.

Kimberley Waterfall Coat (£59.99 £35)
I had to spend so long refreshing my internet browser to get this coat as the website kept crashing, presumably as all coats dropped to half price on Black Friday. It feels very luxurious and this coat has been keeping me warm on those icy cold days. I've mostly been pairing this coat with midi dresses and heeled boots but much to my surprise it seems to go with everything.

Carly Crepe Check Playsuit (£24.99 £5)
I've been eyeing up this playsuit for some time and I couldn't quite believe it was going so cheap which is why I snapped it up pretty sharpish. It's too cold now to wear this bare-legged so black tights, the cosy knit I'm wearing here and the lace-up platform boots I'm wearing in this old OOTD are my go-to items to make this item work for this season.
